My work at Meira...
During my post-graduate career search and purpose realignment, I had both the luck and pleasure of (electronically) running into Meira’s own, Jorge Padilla. A few hours of conversation later, with him and the rest of the team, I knew the months of diligence had paid off in spades. The environment at Meira seemed too good to be true, yet its truth turned out be better than what it seemed.
I aim to be an augmenter of efforts in my role at Meira whether to our wonderful clients or our brilliant advisors. I serve as the key contact person for all client servicing requests and strive to be instrumental in fashioning an incomparable experience for our clients. Furthermore, I provide administrative and paraplanning support for the client advisory team and serve as a liaison between our firm and any outsourced providers.
…and beyond
I grew up in the brutally beautiful Belgrade, an integral part of the natural beauty of Serbia. Its aura of pride and perseverance—exemplified in its past and present—deeply impacted my outlook on life. I do my utmost to express gratitude for my (what some may see as unlucky) background.
A few blessings, counted and uncounted, helped me gain a basketball scholarship for an otherwise unattainable American education. That journey took me through Lubbock, TX, Blue Mountain, MS, and finally to Miami, FL where I gained my MBA. At Meira, however, the education has only begun—as only the doers truly learn—and, hopefully, this education never ends.
In Miami, I fell in love with more than just the weather, and I wear a ring as a divine consequence of that. In between deciding what to watch, and how long we should remain motionless in discomfort so our cat can enjoy its nap, I have an emotional relationship with reading and writing. That causes longer breaks than I’d like to take, but also builds desire for their return. Otherwise, I enjoy collecting daydreams, good conversations, and life’s simple pleasures such as the smell of delectable coffee, taste of handmade pizza, and the murmur of a content family on a Sunday.
My vision is to plant trees whose shade I may not get to enjoy in my lifetime, and always lend a helping hand.
